Audacity effects missing

I would like to know why is this problem still showing up in Hardy?

There was an issue with those two effects in the 1.3.4 release so they were removed. The best solution is to download the 1.3.5 version from audacity's website - those effects are back in the new release. The people in that thread who advocate installing from the gutsy repos are just plain mad! Never mix repo versions, bad things will happen!
