I've searched through Audacity's options, and the sourceforge site but can't find the answer. Is it possible to stop Audacity creating those backup files with a tilde (~) on the end?
They are only a few kb each but I still don't want them clogging up my HD. Nor do I want to be constantly deleting them all the time.
