How to setup Ubuntu Server as NAS with RAID

basically i want to build my own NAS and i'd like to use ubuntu or debian. i also want to use RAID.

anyone know a good tutorial where someone has done this already???

For the raid set up it depends on your hardware. Do you plan on using a motherboard with built in raid, then go here:

If you are going to use an add in raid adapter, the instructions should come with the card.
