I just tried to install Google Gears in my Firefox 3.02 on Kubuntu Hardy. The install failed with the message "Google Gears" could not be installed because it is not compatible with your Firefox build type (Linux_ppc-gcc3). Please contact the author of this item about the problem."
My searches on Google haven't turned up anything that is usable or even decipherable by me.
Has anyone had any success with Gears on ppc linux?
