Installed ubuntu on my home PC. and having problems with the internet connection. Its taking lot of time to open websites.
So I thought of installing a caching tool, so that the information(DNS) regarding sites opened before will be cached and which will reduce resolution time and in turn increase connection speed.
Will this idea work if i install squid and configure it as a caching server?
If I can install it, then how do i configure it so that it will work according to my needs..
