Hi, I just installed ubuntu and it seems my wireless connection drops at every reboot of the system. The only way to fix it seems to retype my network password in the network box. yet when you restart the system it seems to have the same issue? I have searched a few threads here but did not know if anyone had a resolution to this issue.

It's supposed to close the connection on every reboot - that's what all operating systems do.

It's bizarre the network passphrase isn't being stored on the keychain, however. Have you added the network to the list of favourites?
