Hi,

I just installed the Open Source Mediastreamer Red 5 on my Ubuntu server.

I am very new with linux servers.. so gotta ask like almost everything ;-)

The Red 5 installation worked out pretty well but now I am looking for a way to let it start when I reboot my server.

The Red 5 installation... got it from this page:
http://osflash.org/red5/ubuntu804

But it does not says how to autostart it on a server reboot.

Thanxs for the help.

Theo

I am also new to Linux.

I found this:
http://www.linuxscrew.com/2007/08/09/autostart-programs-in-ubuntu/
This helped me with autostarts.

I wanted Skype to autostart.

Example: open terminal and type: which Skype

-change Skype to your app name-

It should give you the path to copy and paste into the Sessions location field
