I have realised that Ubuntu isn't for me.

I'm trying to install Vista over the top of Ubuntu and it's coming up advicing my HDD isn't set to NTFS format.

Is there anything I can do?

Hi and welcome, sorry to see you are leaving after a short stay but you should be able to just format the drive and install. :) Good luck!

So sad... could you post your reason why ubuntu aint for you?

Anyway.... you can just format your harddrive and reinstall vista :(

You should clear the parttion first, then create new partitons to your needs, then format. The install program should walk you through it. Too bad your leaving, but Linux isn't for everyone.

If you used an ubuntu live Cd just boot the Live CD and then go to System > Administration > Partition Editor and delete all partitions, so you end up with a blank drive.

Then you should be able to install Vista.
