Using Kubuntu

I think the KDE version will suit me initially as a basic beginner. I have downloaded the files and when I follow the guidance to Quit, Logout etc I keep coming back to Ubuntu Gnome. Can anyone help

Find the sessions menu on the login screen. Sometimes it's a little icon in the corner you have to click. You can tell it to always login to KDE or to the last environment you used (KDE or GNOME).
