when i go to Help and click Advanced topics -> write your own programs -> Leaning how to program the help window closes. it happens every time i click on some other links as well.

what could be the problem . how do i correct it

I tried it.. It the behavior is the same as your..

Probably this is a BUG and needs to be submitted...

Same here, although I can get to the "learning how to program" page by first clicking on "c and c++" then clicking the "learning how to program" link on the bottom left.

Hey... i have reported this as a bug for ubuntu in launchpad . I think it will be solved soon:)
