Hi,

I'm wanting to create an image map on a website - in this case, a map of different voting districts, which allows the user to click on a district to get more information about it.

Have done a bit of reading and understand the basic concepts of selecting rectangles, circles, polygons etc by co-ordinates, but would prefer to do it using a wysiwig editor if possible, as my knowledge of html is pretty poor.

From what I've read Dreamweaver does this pretty well - do linux tool eg Nvu make it as easy? (normally I'd have no concerns about jumping in and learning from scratch, but time is a bit of an issue thanks to a hectic work schedule at the moment).

Thanks,

Blair

The GIMP has a plugin for image map creation. I never used before, but it's there (in Filters > Web > Image Map).

Thanks for that - will have a play tonight and see how it goes.

Cheers,
