View Full Version : [ubuntu] Stock Charts not working

hey guys, on Firefox when I'm using yahoo finance and google finance (haven't checked any others) And I go to look at the stock charts, where they should be is just a blank space, any idea how to fix this?

i am pretty sure that google finance uses flash for its interactive charts. I think there used to be an option for non interactive graphs...

so you might need to install flash...

tried both yahoo and google finance, worked fine
check in preferences if java and java scripts are enabled
if you running ubuntu 32-bits and the ubuntu-restricted-extras package are installed then I recommend you remove the open java and install the sun-java6-plugin

oh thanks, I'll check it out, its my parent's comp so I installed Ubuntu on it after their windows install broke, so just trying to make everything work for them.
