Hi,

I have Ubuntu 8.04 and Centos 5.2 in my laptop. I have a feeling that this is the reason my laptop has slowed down. When I use ubuntu, a lot of times I had to force quit the application when even if Ive opened just a few browser windows. How do I delete centos without reinstalling everything? Is there any other reason why ubuntus so slow? My laptop is a benq Joybook 7000 model, with 1.6 Ghz, 512 RAM. Ive already downloaded the ATI driver so I dont understand why it is still so slow. Thanks.

I find it unlikely that CentOS is making Ubuntu go slow.

Ubuntu may be having problems with your hardware. If CentOS is working OK, then you should probably use it instead of Ubuntu.
