Edit: Solved my problem.. Was in the control center.. whoops.

Specs:
Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy
4GB Ram
Ati Sapphire X1950 PCI-E
Amd Athlon 64 Processor.

I was following the guide to setup my ATI Sapphire X1950 Pci-E card (forgot to set it to run as an app) and my card worked this time around.

However, upon the clean install, Ubuntu says I have 2 monitors. My 2nd monitor is basically a clone of the first.
(I have an Acer 2216W on the left, Acer 1916W on the right)

I was wanting to run these as a dual display, noticed Acer doesn't have any support drivers for Ubuntu. Not proprietary anyway. Anyhow, since the drivers are now ATI, I only see one monitor, listed as Unknown. Not as the two, previously.

What steps can I take to get these two working so I can run my dual-display, or atleast get my two monitors setup? I run the two monitors off of the DVI connections.

When I power-on my widescreen, it's an effective clone of my bigger montior.

On a side note, anyone use the SoundBlaster X-FI ExtremeGamer and got it to work?

Wow I'm a noob, typed up a response that would have helped for nvidia.

Oh well, nice job correcting your own issue.
