I personally install the Adobe Flash player. The other two, Gnash and Swfdec are open source alternatives to Adobe Flash. This link (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RestrictedFormats/Flash) (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RestrictedFormats/Flash) might be of some further information for you.

I agree. Adobe flash since it works great with firefox in 32 bit ubuntu. Seems like I saw a lot of posts about flash problems since flash doesn't work with AMD64 version. I mean people not liking to use gnash and looking for a 64 bit flash version

robti i think everytime ive ever tried to install a plugin from firefox's suggestions, it has never worked. if this is the case for you, it is easy to install flash from a terminal, just type in
sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree restart firefox and you should be set.
