This is one of my pet peeves with Ubuntu that doesn't happen in Windows. There's a site I use that has a drop-down menu, and right where the drop-down should go is a flash embed. For some reason, the flash covers up any other objects so you can't see any of the menu links when you hover over them.

Is there a way to change this? I'm using shockwave flash..

You need to get Firefox 3 and the newest Flash 10.

Thanks, I had 9 installed. 10 is a prerelease, I think.. :)

Hopefully this will fix the problem.

Edit: Yes it did :). Could not get it to work using Adobe's instructions, I used the instructions from this site (http://tombuntu.com/index.php/2008/05/16/test-drive-flash-player-10-beta-in-ubuntu/).
