The latest pulseaudio version is 0.9.12, as far as I know, Intrepid is still using the outdated 0.9.10 witch is almost half year old. New version fixed lots of bugs and regressions. Considering that we're in Feature Freeze I doubt that we'll see an update on this. Question is: Having the amount of issues we all know using Pulseaudio, why not consider using the latest stable version?

You can upgrade yourself using the packages in Luke Yelavich's PPA here:

You can be the judge if those packages should replace the pulse 9.10 which has basically been carried over from Hardy. If not, and it's important to you, consider switching to Fedora 10 when it's released.

Well.. you have a long thread about this instead starting av new one.

Version 0.9.12 got bugs also discussed within Pulseaudios mailing list.
But... 0.9.10 which I went back to with a clean install got more.
I have seen discussions about patching 0.9.10.
With more organised testing I am convinced that 0.9.12 is a better choice.

This should be merged with the two other pulse threads.....
