Ok here's my wonderings..

I'm getting back into WoW.. well especially since I found my receipt to my WOTLK preorder from a year ago :).. anyway so I've read some posts about how folks have used a workaround to get the WOTLK Beta to work and work successfully. (something about needing ies4linux) So I read that the current devel version of Wine, 1.1.4 has included a fix for the EULA Accept button being greyed out. So if I'm using version 1.0, I have all my games and stuff installed, when 1.1.4 is released as stable please tell me I dont have to remove my current wine install to get the latest version...

Upgrading Wine doesn't delete or otherwise affect the contents of your .wine folder - all your games will be fine, regardless of how many times you fiddle with the version of Wine you have installed.

Ok that sounds good.. so is there a how-ton or instructions on the actual upgrading process? Or do you just re-run the install (Synaptic)?

If you've added the repository at wine.budgetdedicated.com, then you can just run Synaptic again and you'll get Wine 1.1.4 installed.

Otherwise, you can download the .deb file from the same site, and double-clicking it will probably install it (I tend to do things from the commandline, but that should work).
