I have had no luck for ages with any ATI card and Wine for ages. On a fresh hard drive i thought id give it a go with the recent WINE release, 1.1.4. With the ATI drivers from the Ubuntu Repos GW worked first time. Both the AGP 2400 HD and the x1950 cards.
It would appear the problems have been fised with this release, so rejoice ATI folks. You can now play GW again! :guitar:
Not sure if this should have gone in the old GW thread as its named after an old release, and this is a new release. Please merge if this belongs in that thread though :)
