When I start up Hardy I get a box that float on my desktop that tells me that the settings on my monitor is not optimum and it recommends a setting of 1280x1024 and that is what I have on my setting. My monitor is a Samsung Syncmaster731n. After about a minute it will stop and everything is OK. My question is how do I stop that box from coming up on startup and shut down.

Well monitor pops up that message because it cannot display current settings, probably the resolution mismatch or refresh rate... nothing harm though..

Thanks for your replay but it takes so long to log on and off. The setting are what is recormended so I don't know why this will keep poping up. It is just agravating to have to wait when you want to log on to your computer. I was thinking that there may be a driver missing. It is an api and it uses a plug and pay mode.

I don't see anything on that site that will help with this problem.
