Wireless Issue Utlizing Ubuntu on Parallels

I have loaded Ubuntu as a VM on an Intel Mac utilizing Parallels. The only problem I am experiencing is Ubuntu does not detect wireless. However, it detects the NIC and I can connect by CAT5. I have switched the connection to the wireless card under the Parallels devices>network adapter and it still does not connect. Additionally, a wireless connection does not show under Ubuntu's network settings. Please provide assistance.

You don't need to setup Wireless in a VM. Connect how you want to with OS X, then your VM will use OS X's connection. You can change how the VM uses the host's connection in network properties for the VM.
