Hi,
I'm new to posting on the forums, and have been using Kubuntu for about 6 months now. So please go a little easy on me.
I've been happily using DeVeDe 3.6 with no worries since starting on Kubuntu, however I've never wanted to have Menus. Until now, upon looking at the options I found that there was much newer version available (3.11) which would give me a few better options for a simple menu.
Well I have upgraded, and supposedly of the dependencies are satisfied. But now I can't create anything. On clicking the, forward button to start creating the DVD files (iso or 'DVD structure') or on clicking the preview button, the Creating status dialogue pops up, but it appears to b doing nothing, and I have waited a long time, to make sure! The other thing is that when I try to cancel the creating operation I have to try and do it at least three times before it responds to the cancel command.
Any solutions, or success stories with the new version would be most helpful. If anyone knows if maybe using a slightly older version, rather than just going right back to 3.6 would do the job. that would be helpful too. Or if somebody knows that this is a lost cause and I should just give up and go back to 3.6 for now, then just let me know too.
Thanx
