I've used GNOME pretty much all my Linux life (about 2 years, except for a little experimenting with fluxbox/openbox), but after taking a break from Linux and using Windows for a bit, I'm gonna give KDE/QT a shot, and so I decided openSUSE 11 with KDE3.5 would be my best bet.

The reason I'm trying this is because there's a lot of awesome QT programs that I'd like to try out and are native to KDE. Also, I've heard QT is a lot, lot nicer to develop in.

I'll let you guys know later today how it worked and what I think.

So am I, today... except I'll be using KDE 4.x
I hate GNOME.
More things are written in GTK (gnome) because it is more popular but now with the late 3.5's and the 4.x's KDE is making a comeback.
