Hey! So I've ripped a bunch of music cds to my computer and for some odd reason, it organized the music by artist instead of by album. Is there a way I can get them organized by album instead?
Thanks for any ideas!

Has it inserted the name of the album into the filename?

A similar question has come up before, and the best comment I had at the time was that if this was Windows, I'd suggest the program "MediaMonkey", which has the ability to reorganize files according to several of the ID tags stored in the MP3 file. The Linux alternatives suggested by other forum members elude my memory for the moment (that's the trouble with having a tame black hole as a filing system!)

No...what it does is has all my folders and for example, if I click on Carter Burwell, the a subfolder A Knight's Tale, the another subfolder Carter Burwell, then a subfolder A Knight's Tale again, then the track. I don't know what it's doing.
