So my wirelss is supposed to be supported by ndiswrapper but I have yet to prevail with that one. So as of now I'm stuck on windows until I can get a new wireless card or a new solution?

My router is directly underneath the floor I'm on, however I cannot drill a hold through the floor to get a cable up here. And to run it otherwise would be between 50-75 ft. of cable. Not grand!

If someone can think of another solution to my getting wonderful ubuntu to run on my computer (Had it before, moved now can't use it) I would be extremely grateful!

Thanks,
Axis

A friend of mine uses these gizmos to 'pipe' his broadband all over his house. He reckons they are just the job when wireless isn't up to it...
