master mode and packet injection

I can't seem to get my wireless card into master mode i have the intel wireless mini pro A/B/G card and when i try to get it into master mode using the following string i get this:

all i can seem to do is set it to managed or monitor mode also i have been having problems packet injecting can any one help with some info

what chipset is that? and why do you want it into 'master' mode? managed is what you'd want for infastructure connects and monitor for passive/injects.

yea your right that is the mode i have put them in still injection is not working i want master mode for another reason but cant seem to get it in to master mode how can i find out what chip set it is ???
