If it's possible to share, what sort of hardware does this forum run on? To have 12k+ (25k as a record) online at once must require some impressive power.

From what I recall it's only 2 servers, with Dual Core Xeon processors.

Not sure how much RAM.

and a lot of tweaks! unfortunately the admins have had to remove some of the feautres we used to love because they were eating up too many resources.

I think they took the plug out today by mistake as well...or not ;)

Technically, I think it is they didn't add any of the features, as the few cool things that were gone were plugins.
