Atmosphir (http://atmosphir.com/)
Atmosphir is a free video game / creation tool for Mac & PC. Design mode lets you create enormous 3D platforming levels filled with fun gameplay elements like power-ups and fireballs, while Play mode lets you explore through the thousands of diverse user-created challenges being uploaded every day.
Now, as far is I know, by "PC" they're meaning a computer with Windows installed. Before you flame me, in the Beta Request forum the first question asks "Which type of computer do you have?" there's a a check box with text field to describe what type of computer you have. I'm guessing, that if enough people fill out that box with "PC with Linux installed" that the software will be coded for Linux.

Yeah, I think this has a fairly good chance of being ported to Linux, assuming there's demand for it. I just learned about this today from another forum and was planning on posting about it here. But I'm glad someone beat me to it, because it shows me that there is at least one other person interested in this kind of thing.
So I did my part, and hopefully others will too. The way I see, what could it hurt? It hardly takes any effort at all to fill out the little form and you could potentially be bringing a fun game to Linux. There's a chance it will be terrible, but what does that matter? How can it hurt the Linux games scene when there is no scene? :)

Did you happen to read about it on the Racketboy Forum (http://www.racketboy.com/forum/)?

Yep, that's the one. I've been a regular there for years now. It's one of my favorite sites on the web.
On topic, it seems like there aren't too many interested in this. I wonder why...

Well, did I just learn of two cool techs today or what? First, a great take on a game designer with a social twist, then next, I find that Google has automated surveys that are connected to their spreadsheet app. This is a good day!

Awesome, I'm glad to see this app come over to Linux (yeah, I know that my thread didn't really help, but I'm still happy). Long live cross-platform apps!
