hello every one i am totally new to Ubuntu only been on it for a few days
after a very steep learning curve (i am a Microsoft baby lol)
i now have my wireless working and amsn and a few other gizmo's
i am wondering if any 1 knows how to get my on board acer orbi cam working
my laptop is a acer aspire 9300
if u can help please give clear and detailed instructions i get lost a lil easy thank you in advance

Well its possible the device wont work under ubuntu period, did you check if your cam is linux compatible?

no i havent checked to see if Ubuntu is compatible with it
tho i have emailed acer asking for any info and they have refused to help me
make any of my acer stuff Linux compatible

well you can try a google search for starters, with terms like "orbcam ubuntu compatibility" and the like.

tyvm its helped a lil i can now find my can just cant get it to display
a picture
