Of all days for this to happen!

http://www.cspan.org/Watch/C-SPAN_wm.aspx

The above link opens a tab and in the tab a small video is supposed to play. No video plays.

Please see the attached screenshots.

The shot named: click is the first page, and the screenshot named: embedded is the 2nd.

I believe I have the unrestricted codecs, mozilla mplayer plug-in installed.

Check if you have more than one Firefox plugin for the same type of media. I had a similar problem on my ISP provider streaming site. I had to remove all plugins and leave only one to solve the problem.

Mplayer didn't worked for me either. I would recommend gecko media player. You can find more about it at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=766683

I looked in Tools/Add-ons, but can't find the "plug-in" section. May I have a little more help, please?

In Firefox, I think it's under:

Tools > Add-ons > Plugins

That is weird, because that screenshot is from a machine running Linux / Ubuntu /Firefox too.
