pidgin can't connect to msn at the moment, and I read somewhere that microsoft shut them down for the day because its 9/11? is it down for anyone else, and is the 9/11 thing really true? cause that's just stupid.

Yea I'm getting the same problem with amsn, just keeps trying to connect. I doubt they would shut it down for 9/11, I mean yes it's a day to remember but how does that effect a chat program?! There has to be another reason...

Hm I can't log on either, but at school some of my classmates could log on. And yes, they're using Vista.:lolflag:

I'm logged into MSN, but my buddy list looks much shorter than it usually is. Probably some of their servers are down, but definitely not all of them. I don't think they'd shut down MSN Messenger just for a day of rememberence,.

emesene and my mobile phone weren't working before, but aMSN is working for me now...or it just hasn't realised it should be signed out :P It was being dodgy last night too

Mine isn't working either. Does anyone know why the servers are down?

mine went back to logging in quite soon after i posted last in this thread. think its the usual sporadic problems you get with it
