Hello, ever since I replaced my old IDE DVD burner with a SATA burner, I've been having problems with CD playback on Amarok. I have /dev/cdrom/ as the default device in Amarok, and have tested /dev/cdrom0/ and /dev/cdrom1/ with no success.

At the moment I don't have anything CD or DVD drive related on my fstab and it looks like this.

# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# -- This file has been automaticly generated by ntfs-config --
#
# <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>

proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/sda1 /media/Win ntfs-3g defaults,locale=fi_FI.utf8,gid=46 0 0
/dev/sdc1 /media/New ntfs-3g defaults,locale=fi_FI.utf8,gid=46 0 0
/dev/sdf1 /media/DT ntfs-3g defaults,locale=fi_FI.utf8,gid=46 0 0
/dev/sdd1 /media/Vid ntfs-3g defaults,locale=fi_FI.utf8,gid=46 0 0
/dev/sde1 /media/PT ntfs-3g defaults,locale=fi_FI.utf8,gid=46 0 0
# Entry for /dev/sdb1 :
UUID=e04d0215-b6f2-4049-ad63-a5ed8fd9b76b / ext3 relatime,errors=remount-ro 0 1

With the above fstab contents, I haven't had basically any issues, apart from the occasional time where sdf1 doesn't mount when booting up. The CD/DVD's (be it data, video or audio) automount properly and they're extractable via Audio CD Extractor, so I believe the issue is that Amarok is simply trying to look for the CD in the old drive, which is disconnected. Haven't been able to found anything pointing towards the old drive, then again I'm still a relative newbie to Ubuntu and Linux in general.
