You're running both vista and Ubuntu? Isn't that already considered as dual boot? What actually are you trying to do?

yeah i guess i was wondering if things like wine work well enough to switch fulling to ubuntu cause vista takes a lot of room but i was hoping to get war and i have sins bfme2 and wasn't sure if dual booting was i good option.

A lot of stuff works great using Wine.

But if you are looking for total compliance, dual boot is the only option or using virtual box or other virtualization appz.

If you're a fluent gamer, then maybe dual booting is for you, a lot of the popular titles can run under Wine perfectly like WoW and Call of Duty 4.
