I expect you probably fill the machines with various third-party components -- memory, disks -- but who is the manufacturer of the laptop body/motherboard? I can't figure it out from the label or the booklet that comes with the machine.

Nifty! And it looks like the ODM (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Original_design_manufacturer) (I just learned that term) is Clevo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clevo).
