I installed Maple 12 in ubuntu 8.04 succesfully, but whenever I type something and ask Maple to calculate it (for example, 1+1), a window pops up and says
"Kernel connection not available
Waiting for kernel connection."
After some time, another window pops up and announces that the kernel was unavailable and it might be because of my firewall.
I've already tried to disable ufw (Uncomplicated Firewall), it does not help.
Is anybody else having the same problem?
