just got my koala mini today, and i'm having problems hooking it up to my tv. here is what i tried:
hook it up to the tv using a DVI to component cable, when i turn it on the video is scrambled during POST, and non existant once the OS boots up.
used the component hookup from the koala to the tv. when i use this, i can see the post fine, but when the os boots up i get no video.
i also tried using a DVI to HDMI cable, for this, i see POST, and once it boots into the OS, i see no video.
when i hook it up to my monitor everything is fine. i ran out of time to troubleshoot the problem, so while i'm at work i'm wondering if i could get some input from you guys. the tv i'm trying to hook it up to is a sony 50" lcd rear projection, capable of doing 1080i.
what i plan on trying when i get home is to lower the resolution to one of the lower settings just to see if i get video, and hopefully go from there. in addition if anyone knows why the video during post is scrambled when i do DVI to component, that would be appreciated.
thanks
Joe
