Are you connecting through an Access point (Wireless router) or are you trying to set up and Adhoc Network (just the 2 computers)?

If your wireless card is detected then all you should need to do is left click on network monitor and select Create new network, then fill everything out. Then you should be able to connect the second machine to the network.

I tried doing that...my laptop uses hardy and it doesnt seem to work. I filled out all the details and tried to setup the network in using every wireless security options possible. The options are none, WEP, WPA personal(preffered as it is more secure),LEAP. It doesnt create the network at all.
Everything is turned on coz the LED on my laptop that enables the wifi is glowing.
Thanks in advance....
Sorry for intruding in ur thread sir, my problem was rather similar so i thought i would continue...
