Ever since I switched my PC to display on COMPOSITE output (through svid-composite converter), it's taking several minutes to boot up. The machine comes up to the nVidia screen just fine, but after that screen goes away, and I get a mouse cursor, it takes over a full minute, even 2 to come up to the desktop. I don't get the background, I don't see the taskbar for XFCE. I don't know where in the logs to look for the error. Xorg.0.log doesn't show anything. Has anyone seen this? Thanks!
