mythbuntu as TV Guide channel

Can Mythbuntu be set up to display only a scrolling TV line-up, similar to the TV Guide channel? If so, it could be a useful tool for small cable TV companies.

The goal would be to put the machine on the scrolling guide, assign that feed to channel number whatever in the cable system, and walk away.

I'd almost guarantee that would violate any ToS agreement from the guide data provider that you were using.
