Well, The screen looked funny, worked forever without a glitch, but one time it just booted and the screen was all weird. I looked at the restricted drivers , and the driver wasnt enabled, so i enabled it, restarted, now everything is out of range, and I cant figure out ubuntu's "safe mode", so i can go in there and figure out WTF happened.

:(:(:(:(:(

Help?

I have this problem after playing Enemy Territory. I have to go into ATI Catalyst Control Center and adjust the resolution from there. If you have Nvidea, they have a similar application.

Icant, My monitor cant display the screen, so I'm in the dark!

I need to somehow load into a default lower res, or text mode, so i can fix the problem.

Any ideas ???:(

You can try and boot into recovery mode and use the xfix option to correct the graphics. Recovery mode is usually the second choice from the grub.
