View Full Version : [ubuntu] Removing icon names on desktop

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this question but is there any way that you can remove the names from icons on the desktop in ubuntu so only the icon displays and not the name? Thankyou in advanced.

Open gconf-editor, and go to apps>nautilus>preferences and change the desktop font to 0 (eg. change it from Sans 10 to Sans 0), then there's no text visible.
