Is it possible to use windows audio drivers in Ubuntu? I.e. A NDISwrapper style project but for audio? I ask because my laptop speakers are very "crackly" when playing audio; alsa was terrible, OSS helps loads but it still happens on occasion. I'm almost certain it's driver related as the sound on the windows side works fine.
