Hi,
I'm running Mythbuntu 8.0.4 with 2.6.24-19 w/ a Biostar 7050 board using the onboard graphics and sound. I'm outputing SPDIF to a receiver for Digital to Analog decoding.
I recently purchased some 5.1 channel flac files, and I'm having trouble playing them.
Does anyone have any tips or tutorials you can point me to? I've heard you can play them through totem-gstreamer but I can't seem to get it setup. I've tried through amarok but the sound is all garbled (if it plays at all).
I appreciate any help.
EDIT: I should add that I can play 5.1 channel sound for DVDs (dolby digital) just fine through VLC or MPlayer.
