I am running a dell640 lap top with Hardy. I have two problems, but, one at a time.
most importantly, the laptop seems to hibernate when I close the lid for more than 10 minutes, still operating, but, black screen. it will not wake up. I end up, having to restart it the hard way (pushing the power button till it turns off, then push it again to start it up) then it works fine until I let it sit again. I've tried changing the power management settings to no avail. I am a complete n00b, and can barely function with terminal. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
PS; After this I'll deal with the wireless B43 issue.
