My suggestion is open various forum's section for language support! Why not?
Like yoper forum... 1 section for french, 1 section for italian ecc..
Not anyobody read or write english ...
for example an italian forum here will be most visible.. then in another location, or not? And it will be a part of this, and this forum'll grow up!
This is a big hand for any local community that has difficulty for make a stable/visible forum!

It's completely wrong.
"Try this" --> "Prova questo".
In italian "provi questo" it's little different.

I think having a general forum for requested languages would be good, even though I'm not multilingual.
There would still be all the sub-forums in English where non-native English speakers could pop by.
I've noticed that Ubuntu's users are very geographically diverse. It would be nice to have the official forum provide a place for them here. With the added bonus that this community might grow even more.
The creation of a certain language sub-forum could be conditional on a certain number of requests (not too many) & on having a moderator who speaks that language.

Couldn't we just have something like a page translater? Like when you type in "Ubuntuforums.org" a thing would come up asking which language you would like to display the forums in?

You are like, flaming your own thread lol.
Anyway, I totally agree with a forum for different languages. Maybe the mods could make a place for people to vote for a language, for example "500 votes to get approved". I would be great for the community because like you well mentioned, not everyone habla ingles/parlent anglais/speak english ;) .
BTW, I wish I had thought of your signature first lol

I personally think the Ubuntu community is still to small for this...
I have nothing against the option itself, although I prefer English myself (although I'm Dutch-speaking)

Too small? I just checked Alessio's ubuntuitalia and they alone have over a 100 topics without being that known [1st ever i ever heard of it].
My country [dominican republic] not everyones speaks english or has enough knowledge to speak english. I bet its the same in Italy and France and -fill the blank-.
Its painless: If you dont wanna read about it, dont read it, sort of aislate every language so they dont collide, thus providing a perfect environment and no more of that "sorry im Russian I can hardly write english".
