I just got an EEE PC 901, and finally figured out how to get the wireless working regardless of what ubuntu distro i use :-)

Now I get to decide which one to use...
Which of these two (Ubuntu-eee, or plain 8.04 [or 8.04.1?]) would you recommend running on my system? If it's important, I have the 4/16 gb ssd, a 16 gig sdhc card, and a 16 gig usb stick. I'm about to put in a 2 gb kingston ram stick.
Which do you prefer, and more imporantly, why/for what reasons? I'm excited to start using Linux, so I'm sure it would be a while before I got bored of either, but I'd like to get the best that's available to me.
Any other distro's are more than welcome, I've just heard and read the most about these 2. Thanks in advance!
