[SOLVED] Windows key?

Does it serve any purpose? So far as I can tell it does nothing.

How would I go about re-assigning it to some actual task? For example, having it drop down either the Applications, Places, or System menu?

Nevermind. Now to go about trying to figure out how to get the logo off.

Hey, my Pangolin arrived the day before and it has a Windows key!

I do like the Ubuntu sticker off to the right of the mouse pad. Very sharp!

Not sure if they are available across the board just yet. We have enough for current production. I'll be talking to el jeffe about it, though, and see how that can be handled.

Do the ubuntu sticker on the "windows key" is only for the laptop, or if keybord you buy with desktop PC also have this sticker?

Just reassign the key to do whatever, I made mine drop down the "Applications" menu.

A sticker would be nice. I just took a small flathead screwdriver and sharpened it like crazy, then used it as a chisel and carefully chiseled off the logo. Are the stickers new, mine didn't have one being shipped mere days before the people that do have them. Any chance you'll send me one too?

I agree earrame, the badge was a nice touch. My friend wants one so bad for his machine, running Arch. I found one guy that makes them, but I'd have to buy it via paypal, which I'd really rather not. So, if anyone happens to know how I could come across a laptop badge for Arch, I'd be much obliged.

Probably score big points with my friend too.
