View Full Version : [kubuntu] Firefox Window Manager issues?

It seems that whenever my Firefox window needs to be redrawn, it's done without a window manager.

For instance, if I minimize it and restore it, it will literally display the window without borders or a window manager.

I can force it to redraw again by pressing F11 to go into fullscreen mode and once more to come out of it. When it comes out if it, it will have a window manager again until something else calls a redraw.

Emerald is my Window Decorator, Compiz is my Window Manager.

Please help. :)

FWIW, I have the exact same issue; found this post when searching for a fix for my problem.

But I'm running GNOME and the newest Intrepid alpha. I'm also using Compiz and can only get it to show the window manager aspects by using the F11 trick.

I just switched back to Metacity from Compiz to see if that makes a difference. I'll post here if it does.

Thanks

I've since switched my emerald theme to a different one to see if it helped, and it doesn't seem to happen anymore. Maybe try that?
