Im using HDMI to connect my laptop to my tv, but im having a few problems.

If i install the ATI drivers the image on the screen has a pinkish hue. But if i dont use the drivers the screen resolution, refresh and color depth arent correct, although the colors overall are right.

Actualy, the resolution is correct (1920x1080), and though the wallpapers spans the entire tv screen, the top and bottom menu bars are "limited" to the resolution of the laptop (1680x1050), so when i choose full screen in videos and such, it doesnt span the entire tv. Rather, there is a band to the right and bottom where you can still se the wallpaper.

So i was wondering if there was a way to correct the colors with the ATI drivers or, failing that, just force the correct resolution, refresh and color depth on the tv?

Thanks in advance.
