Hi to everyone...

I am a new user and I set up the server edition in a clean disk.
Because the system is working by code ans I have no idea, is any others way work???
For example to load something like the GNOME inderface so to work under a friendly user frame???

If yes what is the right procedure to load the GNOME??? If is possible step by step...

An other question if I would like to see the commands for server edition where I have to look at... Is there any list with commands and explanations???

Thank you...

These shell commands are defined internally. Type `help' to see this list.
Type `help name' to find out more about the function `name'.
Use `info bash' to find out more about the shell in general.
Use `man -k' or `info' to find out more about commands not in this list.

EDIT: shibby

Why exactly did you install the server edition? If you wanted a DE then you should have downloaded the desktop edition because that would make much more sense, that way you would at least have an understanding of the way the system works and some commands

Read the server guide (https://help.ubuntu.com/8.04/serverguide/C/index.html)
